Flagship event of IDY 2025 in Shanghai<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

China (Shanghai): <\/mark><\/strong>Consulate General of India organised a beautiful event on the \u00a0occasion of 11th International day of yoga at the city centre of\u00a0Shanghai , the vibrant city of China.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The flagship event featured Yoga demonstrations, interactive sessions, meditation and cultural activities, drawing a diverse audience of diplomats, yoga enthusiasts and community members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program witnessed the participation of many dignatories including Consul Generals and Dy. CGs of many countries like Russia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Thailand, Vietnam, Peru, Ecuador, and other diplomats from Japan, Nigeria Belarus. Indonesia, Greece, Slovenia, Korea, Sri Lanka.\u00a0 CEOs of many Multinational companies and big corporates also participated including the Head of Adani group in Shanghai and many other Global MNCs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resident coordinator of United Nations in China Mr. Siddharth Chatterjee was also one of the special guests who himself is a yoga and practitioner. Praising Yoga\u2018s alignment with global well-being and unity, He said, \u201c As a yoga practitioner, I deeply value its transformative power to foster resilience and peace. This event reflects the shared commitment of India and the United Nations to promote health and harmony, Strengthening bonds between nations \u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sister Sapna from Brahma Kumaris was invited to lead a meditation session which was appreciated by all. The participants experienced a deep sense of peace and connection during the guided meditation. Sister Sapna also explained the significance of Rajyoga as a way of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were also Indian classical dance performances by the famous Chinese artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was indeed a chance to serve many souls who are playing important and significant roles in this land.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
