St.Petersburg \/ Belarus: <\/mark><\/strong>In late August, BKs from Minsk, the capital of Belarus, as well as from Brest, Vitebsk, Mogilev, and Gomel, happily gathered in Minsk for celebrating Raksha Bandhan with\u00a0Didi\u00a0Chakradhari\u00a0and Didi Santosh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August, 28, both Didis visited the Embassy of India and tied the sacred thread of Rakhi to\u00a0Shri Ashok Kumar ji<\/strong>, Ambassador of India in Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August, 29, Didi Chakradhari became the chief guest at a\u00a0public event \u201cPeace on Your Palm\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0dedicated to the launch of the new Brahma Kumaris project \u201cUnity and Trust through Enhancing Inner Powers\u201d held at a prestigious \u201cBelarus\u201d hotel. The conference hall of the hotel attracted hundreds of people inspired with the theme of the project which is so relevant at the present time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Rajesh Kumar<\/strong>, Second Secretary and Head of Chancery, Central Public Information Officer (Embassy of India),\u00a0Ms Nadezhda Los<\/strong>, chairperson of the Club of Elders, the Union of Women of Belarus,\u00a0Mr. Lev Minkov<\/strong>, former chief architect of Minsk, became special guests at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atmospheric video clips and live performances (songs, a dance, and a musical composition) helped the audience to plunge into friendly family vibrations favourable for a heart-to-heart spiritual dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Answering the question about a possible basis for unity in today\u2019s world of differences,\u00a0Didi Chakradhari ji\u00a0<\/strong>said, \u201cSpirituality gives us so much strength that we are able to live and interact with everyone with love, in spite of differences in our personality traits, languages, cultures etc. In fact, when we see one another as souls, children of one Supreme, our culture becomes one – namely that of purity, love and peace. Even our language becomes one, because the language of the soul is that of silence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Greeting the audience on the occasion of the launch of the new project,\u00a0Mr. Rajesh Kumar<\/strong>\u00a0said, \u201cThe product of unity and trust is peace in the world. We all need to work on our inner strength, and this will lead to unity, trust and peace.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcoming both Didis in Minsk,\u00a0Ms Nadezhda Los<\/strong>\u00a0said, \u201cIt\u2019s my great pleasure to be part of this beautiful spiritual gathering. I can relate very well to the theme of the project. We, members of the Union of Women, realise that without unity and trust we cannot ensure mutual understanding and mutual support. If we are not united, we are unable to face the challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharing the message of the new project,\u00a0Santosh Didi\u00a0ji<\/strong>\u00a0said, \u201cWhere the power of science, or governance, or material prosperity, fails, there the power of our connection with the Supreme makes us victorious. People can unite even for destructive purposes, but we should unite in our belief in positivity. The forces of negativity are very active nowadays, and our positivity should be even more active! I should inspire at least 30 persons every month to fall in love with purity and peace.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raksha Bandhan celebration<\/strong>\u00a0on August, 30, became the grand finale of these few days filled with lots of family love and spiritual wisdom. All of us, the BK brothers and sisters, came to\u00a0Tapovan, Baba\u2019s beautiful farm\u00a0<\/strong>at the outskirts of Minsk, to reconfirm our pledge of purity and to give the sakaash of peace and bliss even to the elements of nature. The vastness of green fields and blue sky became a gorgeous backdrop for the celebration. And the makeshift tent in which the Rakhi tying ceremony was held became a physical representation of Baba\u2019s canopy of protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next day, on August, 31,\u00a0Mr Ashok Kumar ji, Ambassador of India<\/strong>\u00a0in this country, also visited Tapovan on the invitation of Didi Santosh. A special guest was shown around the farm and explained how the vegetables and fruit were grown here on the basis of sustainable organic farming combined with the practice of raja yoga meditation and pure lifestyle. Mr Ashok Kumar ji appreciated the results achieved here, especially given the fact that the warm and sunny summertime is quite short in this region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
