1. Slavic Wreath function, Moscow<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Moscow House of Nationalities along with the <\/em>Lev Tolstoy International Literary Club,<\/em>Lev Tolstoy Institute of Languages and Cultures <\/em>hosted an event as part of the international project “Slavic Wreath:<\/em> Historical and Cultural Unity of the Slavic Peoples”.<\/em>  In addition the International Interethnic Women’s Club “Concord”,<\/em> dedicated to the women\u2019s image through poetry and prose. The event was memorable.”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Background:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slavic refers to an ethnic and linguistic branch of Indo-European people primarily located in Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe. It pertains to the languages (e.g., Russian, Polish, Czech, Ukrainian) and cultures shared by these groups. Key synonyms include Slavonic, while it is often categorized by geographic branches: East, West, and South Slavic. <\/em><\/strong>Wreath refers to the Spiritual Shield: Wreaths were believed to possess protective powers against evil spirits.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members from Brahma Kumaris were invited to participate in this special event, along with teachers, representatives of cultural institutions, national centers, and the media. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“An atmosphere of brotherhood was created as the Sound, Slavic Word<\/strong> reciting works in Russian, Slavic and languages of the peoples of Russia. BK Karina Sokolova<\/strong> told a parable about Love. BK Zhanna Samidinova<\/strong> along with her mother BK Elmira<\/strong> recited a poem dedicated to mother and performed a musical composition about family values. Towards the conclusion of the programme, BK Nadezhda,<\/strong> a well-versed in the theme ‘Slavic Wreath’, <\/strong>shared her in-depth spiritual realization. She explained to the audience about how the pure inner spirit of man prevents one from straying from the right path of life. ‘It decorates the soul, gives wisdom, power and protection, makes difficult things simple, heavy things light,’ she added. She concluded her reflections on the occasion with the words: ‘Virtues do not have a nationality. They are the foundation of the unity of all the souls of the world. Let us shine and spread the vibrations of our virtues. The world needs them so much. She became a compassionate friend to the gathered Slavic community.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brahma Kumari Nadezda Ganikovskaya is 90 years old but ever active in Baba’s service and is the first Brahmin born on the Russian land in 1989. Sincere thanks to her. <\/strong>The creative meeting brought vivid and unforgettable emotions and became a source of inspiration for everyone. <\/strong>We are united, and we need each other.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spectacle: “Enough Stupidity for Every Wise Man”: <\/strong>written in 1868 by Russian playwright Alexander Ostrovsky. It’s a satirical comedy that perhaps relates to the ongoing situations in the modern world. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrey Badulin is one of the leading directors of the Central Academic Theatre of the Russian Army. <\/em><\/strong>He has staged more than twenty performances. He invited a group of Brahma Kumaris students to watch his play “Enough Stupidity for Every Wise Man”.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, little changes in our life over time. How can a young man make a career without acquaintances and without protection? There is a great temptation that it is possible to achieve success, high position, well-being, by stepping over yourself, stepping on someone’s head. Such a way \u2013 a one-way road \u2013 a way of betraying oneself, one’s own intellect, which will certainly lead to cynicism and moral death. Therefore, it is worth considering whether all these benefits are worth such a price for the younger generation. Perhaps we should look for another path that does not require us to compromise our honor and dignity. I hope that these words are still meaningful.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the performance, sharings with Mr. Andrey Badulin, Theater Director by BK Natalia Frolova and BK Olga Smirnova were appreciable. As a token of friendship they presented the Director and actors with flowers and a “Garden of Wisdom” calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.<\/strong> Services in Vladivostok, Russia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

a) Ms. Marina Kholkina, <\/strong>a psychologist and a lawyer in the city, visited the Raj Yoga Center in Vladivostok. Sis. Alla, Director of the Centre welcomed the long awaited guest with full heart.  During the tea party, Ms. Marina almost learnt about the true nature of the soul, God, the current period in human history, paradise, the “Peace of Mind” retreat, and much more. Marina had a desire to visit the Center again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

b) BK Alla Sadovnikova<\/strong> was invited to the musical and poetic party “In the Rhythms of the Snowfall,” where poets read their poems. Alla Sadovnikova presented the poets with memorable gifts and invited them to participate in the Raja Yoga Center’s programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

c) At the invitation of a good friend, director, and entertainer Marina Dorozhkin,<\/strong> Alla Sadovnikova attended the patriotic Gala Concert “We Are Together,” <\/strong>organized on the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland in support of participants in the Special Military Operation, <\/strong>their family members, volunteers, and adults and children with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

d) At the City Library,<\/strong> Alla Sadovnikova participated in a session for non-profit organizations and got acquainted with the representatives of the Department of Public Initiatives, Vladivostok Administration. <\/strong>The participants introduced each other to their projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

e) At the<\/strong> New Jagannatha Puri Temple<\/strong> in Vladivostok, just returned from Madhuban, Sis. Alla Sadovnikova attended the programme of chanting and lecture on a verse from the Bhagavad Gita. Later she too shared the Knowledge of the soul and the Incorporeal God.<\/strong> Devotees<\/strong> expressed sincere gratitude to Brahma Kumari Alla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
