Brahma Kumaris – YOG Bhavan, Mumbai, Ghatkopar Subzone, conducted “Soul Talks & Holistic Wellness” Session at Indian Navy. About 100 Sailors And Defence Service Corps (DSC) Jawans were a part of this Session.
The participants were given an introduction to Brahma Kumaris through an AV clip, followed by a very effective session which was a mix of Physical Yoga and Rajyoga conducted by BK Jagruti (Yoga and Wellness Expert). In her session, BK Jagruti showed simple exercises, along with a few tips on regulating one’s thoughts, so as to achieve both physical and mental wellness.
This was followed by a Stress Management Interactive session conducted by BK Rajiv Pisharoti (Management Consultant) , who discussed the root cause of stress and gave tips on how to deal with it. There was also a Q&A section which was liked by all.
Concluding the Program, BK Pramila (Senior Rajyoga Teacher and Ex. BARC Scientist) gave a wonderful talk about importance of Rajyoga and Introduced the audiences to the Supreme Soul, and guided how one can connect with the Supreme to seek internal solace and
The participants practised guided meditation and experienced true Peace and Bliss.
Commander (CDR) Pranav Joshi (of Material Organization, Mumbai MO-MB) said that there is an absolute need for Rajyoga and Physical Yoga in the Routine of fellow Sailors and Jawans, and intended to keep more such sessions for the benefit of fellow colleagues.Sunil Kumar Tanwar (from MCPO Logistics) said that stress management is of utmost importance to people of this profession, as they strive to strike a balance between family and work life .All participants received Godly “Prasad” and Virtue Cards as takeaways.This was the first of the series of sessions that will be done for different categories of Indian Navy.
