Novato,California USA : On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri 2024, Brahma Kumaris Anubhuti Meditation and Retreat Center, Novato, California organized a special program at the center. Local leaders and dignitaries from different parts of California graced the event with their presence.
Mayor of Novato Mark Milberg, Consulate General of India in San Francisco Dr. K Srikar Reddy, founders of several organizations and institutions attended the gathering. Sharing their good wishes, the dignitaries appreciated the spiritual awareness Anubhut has brought into the community. They also extended their interest to collaborate with Anubhuti to bring a better change in the lives of people in San Francisco and the Bay Area.
The event was enriched by the music, songs and dance performances by local artists. Sister Elizabeth, Sister Hema, Sister Vaishali, Brother Jignesh etc. shared the spiritual message behind Shivratri festival and the need of rajyoga meditation.
The main attraction of the Shivratri Festival at Anubhuti this year was a replica of world famous Pashupatinath temple. The temple was built by volunteers associated with the Anubhuti family. Large number of people enjoyed the presence of the temple.
More than 250 people attended the event online and in person.
