Trinidad and Tobago: On Sunday 8th December 2024 Sr Dr Payal hosted a function in observance of her 50th birthday entitled Gratitude and Thanksgiving at the Brahma Kumaris Centre in San Fernando, Trinidad. This event was attended by a limited number of specially invited persons numbering just over one hundred. The main aim was to bring VIP’s and other cooperative souls to Baba’s home. This has slowed down since Covid 19 as many souls including BK’s are in less numbers to the Centre.
It was a spectacular, heartwarming and spiritually charged environment. Guest upon guest, each one being professionals, respectable in society, who have admiration for values, virtues, and acts of kindness, expressed their gratitude and compassion for their experiences of Spirituality in practical application of the benefits they have achieved from their encounter with Sr Payal and other BK’s.
Many friends meeting each other after a long time brought jubilation, laughter and happiness. “An angel is in our midst”, a true mother, a caregiver, referring to Sr Payal was expressed. Expressions through songs, video documentary, commentary, topped off by sharing of gifts and dinner left everyone in attendance in a feeling of blissfulness.
Special thanks must be given for the contribution of Harilal Bhaiji and his team at Godlywood studio for producing a short documentary on the life of Sr Payal from childhood to present. Souls were very impressed with both her academic and spiritual contribution as well as her acknowledgements of awards for her service. High compliments and thanks for such a wonderful presentation by Goodly Studio in a very short time which I hope will be shared with the family as a means of knowledge and inspiration.
The cooperation of the staff for the hosting of the event was family oriented. Love and selflessness were expressed as each one giving of their worth and talent. Baba’s service was on their minds and heart, which was no doubt achieved and shall forever be remembered.
The programme was chaired by Br Harrypersad Maharaj, National Awardee, Justice of Peace and BK with over 48 years of experience and received gratitude from the guests.
Sr Payal expressed the vote of thanks and commended each one for supporting her and giving her the opportunity to serve.
