Silicon Valley, Milpitas(USA) : Brahma Kumaris Silicon Valley, Milpitas celebrated MahaShivratri on Sunday, February 23rd with great spiritual splendor and heartfelt zeal. The celebration honored the divine glory of our Father, Shiv, with singing, Bharatanatyam dance, and a children’s skit that illustrated the distinction between Shiv and Shankar while unveiling the true essence of Shivratri.
Sr. Kusum highlighted the significance of Maha Shivratri through her talk, followed by a guided meditation experience.
Ritu Maheshwari, VP of Festival of Globe (FOG), presented Sr. Kusum with a Certificate of Honor in recognition of her unwavering commitment to community service and her profound role in inspiring spiritual awakening and nurturing souls.
The festivities culminated in a candle-lighting ceremony, the hoisting of Shiv Baba’s flag accompanied by the nara, receiving toli and blessings from Baba, and enjoying a delicious Brahma Bhojan.
