Moscow(Russia): Solemn Prayer Meet in memory of the victims of “Pahalgam Terrorist Attack
Embassy of India, Moscow, Russia
Programme began with a minute of silence.

H.E. Mr. Vinay Kumar, while expressing his hearty thanks to the gathering of members of Indian Diaspora and also a few Russian friends, including Dr. Tatiana Shaumyan, Head of the Centre for Indian Studies, Institute of Oriental Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences, for their solidarity, said that this heinous crime can not be forgiven. The government of India will definitely find the culprits, and they will have to pay for taking the lives of innocent people. Telling a little political history about Kashmir, he said that people who did this dirty act want to create fear in the minds of tourists and local people. However, our unity, our cooperation at all levels will not allow them to reach their aim.

While addressing the gathering, B.K. Sudha said that we all know that the one who has come in this world, has to go back one day. Body is not eternal so, the soul has to leave it one day and take another body. But one is Natural death and another is when life is snatched from people by such heinous, brutal, inhumane acts which can only be called devilish acts. Such situations become the reason of pain for the whole of humanity.
An old Hindi song –
Aaj ke insaan ko kya ho gaya.!
Vo purana pyar kahan par kho gaya!!
When selfish interests take over the conscience, love is lost. And the root cause of these selfish interests is ignorance about the true self.
It is important to understand and realize that each one of us is a soul and that we are children of one Supreme Father, the Ocean of Love,
the Ocean of Peace and the Bestower of Wisdom. Mahatma Gandhi said in his prayers:
Ishwar Allah Tere Naam
Sabko Sanmati De Bhagwan…
“I would like to call this meeting not Shok Sabha (Condolence Meeting) but will like to call it Shanti Sabha (Meeting for Peace)
So, let’s think about the souls who have been forced violently to leave their bodies and also about their friends, relatives and so on…
First of all they are in utter need of peace…
Hence, while sitting so far, let us emerge in front of our eyes all those souls and also the souls of the world.
Let us stabilize in our state of peace and connect with the Supreme, the Giver of peace.
And let our vibrations of pure love and peace reach them…”
The whole gathering sat in a couple of minutes of silence which gave everyone the experience of deep peace…
