Vijayawada, AP: Kalp Taruh project is taken up by the entity of the Government of Andhra Pradesh (AP) -BCDE (Board of Community Development through Education), in collaboration with Brahma Kumaris, to implement it in all Higher Education Institutions (Engineering, Medical, and degree colleges) across AP in order to engage lakh+ students of these institutions. Each student participating in this project will plant and sustain one tree, as the principle of this project is “One Person, One Plant, for One Planet”. More than 250 Brahma Kumaris centers in Andhra Pradesh will be collaborating with BCDE and implementing this project in Higher Education Institutions of AP.
This collaboration was formally initiated on November 1st, 2022 (Andhra Pradesh’s Formation day) by Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy Ji, Chief Advisor for CM of AP at Vijayawada.
In the presence of N. Ramkumar Ji, Chairman of BCDE, Govt of AP, K. Hemachandra Reddy Ji, Chairman of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education), and Devakumar Ji, CEO of BCDE. BK Padmaja, BK Nagamani and BK Dilip have presented Shivbaba’s picture as a gift and shared the message of Brahma Kumaris to the leaders of Andhra Pradesh.
