Guwahati, Asam: On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Brahma Kumaris Guwahati Center has organized a Tree Plantation Awareness Drive at its upcoming Brahmaputra Retreat Center , North Guwahati. More than 300 saplings were planted by regular BK students at the said venue under the canopy theme of ” Kalpataru Project “.
Sri Ajit Kr. Bhuyan, Reserve Inspector, Fire and Emergency Service, Government of Assam and Sri Bhaben Kr. Deka, Social Worker participated in the program as special guests whereas Sister BK Vandana from Rupnagar Center presided over the meeting and Sister BK Deepanjali managed the stage.
During the program, a magic show was also organized by BK Dhaneswar Bhai from Mount Abu which enthralled the audience.
