Johannesburg,South Africa: Various programs held in South Africa in honour of International Yoga Day.
The following programs were held:1. 4 June 2023 Yoga:to live with a Higher Consciousness – hosted by the Brahma Kumaris in Johannesburg at the center with special guest Sushma Didi from Jaipur and supported by the Consulate General of India in Johannesburg Mr Mahesh Kumar
2. 16 June 2023 Yoga session led by Sr Indrani in Nelspruit at the Swartfontein Rehabilitation Center
3. 26 June 2023 Brahma Kumaris participated at Kirstenbosch, the iconic gardens in Cape Town in the IYD celebration hosted by the Indian Consulate of Cape Town. Sr Nita had the opportunity to lead a meditation on behalf of the Brahma Kumaris.
4. 26 June 2023 Brahma Kumaris participated at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg which was hosted by the Indian Consulate. It was the largest event hosted in Africa ( approximately 8000 people) in honour of International Yoga Day and was supported by the Deputy President of South Africa Mr Paul Matshila and his wife. Brahma Kumaris had the opportunity to lead a meditation which was guided by Sr Pratiba.
