Tiruvannamalai TN: A Special program was organized by His Excellency R.N. Ravi, Governor of Tamil Nadu. He visited Tiruvannamalai, (TN) for two days to meet and interact with the Sadhus in Tiruvannamalai. There are hundreds of ashrams around the Girivalam Path, but only 8 were selected to be on the stage and to give Keynote address. Brahma Kumaris were one among them.
The event was held at Sri Vijay Balaji Mahal A/C, Girivalam Path on 10.08.2023 at 12.00 PM. Several Sadhus and Ashram heads participated in the Program. Around 400 members participated in the program.
Rajayogini Sister B.K. Uma, during her address congratulated and gave her good wishes to the Governor for his services to Tamil Nadu and insisted that we are responsible for contributing Love, Peace and Harmony in the world. Sis Uma also said that more than 10 Lakhs people visit Tiruvannamalai on Full Moon Day, so she requested the Governor for providing more public toilets for the pilgrims who come to Tiruvannamalai, in order to maintain the environment and that request was considered. Governor honoured Sis. Uma on this occasion for her services rendered for the past 40 years at Tiruvannamalai. Also Sis. Uma honoured the Governor with Shawl and presented him with a Godly gift.
All other Sadhus from different Ashrams also shared their views and expressed their requests to the Governor. There was a Live Telecast of the program on local channels and the news was published in all the daily News Papers.
