Guwahati, 31st August : Rakshabandhan Festival was celebrated with full gaiety at Rupnagar Center where many people from every walk of life participated. Brahma Kumari Sisters tied Rakhi to brothers and sisters while conveying the true significance of the festival. Rakhi was also tied to Hon’ble Governor of Assam Sri Gulab Chand Kataria and Chief Minister of Assam Sri Hemanta Biswa Sarma apart from a number of Ministers, MLAs, High Court Judges, Deputy Commissiner and Bureaucrats of state government.
