rahma Kumaris participated in Marathon organised by Ludhiana Police and District Administration on International Day Against Drug Abuse
Ludhiana ( Punjab ): On the International Day Against Drug Abuse, the marathon was scheduled by the District Administration and Ludhiana Police, which was well participated by the Brahma Kumaris of Ludhiana following the invitation by the District Administration Ludhiana. Deputy Commissioner Surabhi Malik, Police Commissioner Dr Kaustubh Sharma and Additional Deputy Commissioner Amarjit Bains were present at the event.
Around 50 BK’s ran in the marathon, taking the message of no to drugs for a healthy body and well-being of the mind. On the occasion, the Brahma Kumaris also installed a spiritual cum awareness exhibition to apprise all about the harmful impact of drugs and guided all to practice meditation and adopt a value-based lifestyle. People visiting the exhibition were also educated about the eight spiritual innate powers of the soul and how its attainment can set one free from drug abuse.
