Dhulikhel,Nepal: The Silver Jubilee celebration of the Brahmakumaris Dhulikhel, Kavre, was held with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The event took place in the impressive hall of the local Dhulikhel Municipality. The Chief Guest, Deepak Kumar Gautam, Chief of the Kavre District Coordination Committee, congratulated the Brahma Kumaris on their Silver Jubilee and noted that the institution aims not to create prominent individuals, but rather good, principled individuals. He emphasized that while death is certain after birth, the organization imparts the true knowledge of how to lead a meaningful life and perform virtuous deeds.
Ashok Kumar Byanju Shrestha, Mayor of Dhulikhel Municipality, addressed the audience as a special speaker. He expressed concern over the diminishing traditional values and beliefs, remarking that in this critical situation, the Brahma Kumaris institution is working to uplift moral and ethical values by promoting self-awareness and teaching yoga.
Dr. Hemraj Koirala, Director of the Yoga and Natural Medicine Division at Kathmandu University, highlighted that the Brahmakumaris Rajayoga Center transcends boundaries of religion, caste, and color, teaching people to see humanity with a spiritual perspective. He emphasized that this is the essence of true spiritual knowledge, which, when embraced, can lead to positive social change.
Delivering her blessings, Raj Didi Ji, Director of Brahmakumaris, Kathmandu, Nepal, remarked that the time is near when this age of darkness (Kaliyug) will transform, giving way to a new era of truth (Satyug). To contribute to this change, she encouraged everyone to purify their character, nature, and conduct. The remembrance of the Supreme Soul, Shiva, is, according to her, the key guiding principle for this transformation.
Brahmakumar Ramsingh, Lakshmi, Director of the Dhulikhel Service Center, and Brahmakumar Raju Ghale also extended their well-wishes. The celebration included captivating dance performances by the sisters, enchanting the attendees. The event witnessed a significant gathering and left a positive impact on all present.
