China Guangzhou : Sister Sapna invited as the Head Judge in “Canton India Book club”competition by Indian Consulate

China (Guangzhou/ Canton city).

“Canton India Book Club” started by the Consulate General of India in Guangzhou to promote the awareness of cultural heritage of Bharat.

“Canton India Book Club” An initiative by the Consulate General of India in Guangzhou to promote the cultural heritage of Bharat. At the inauguration of Canton India Book Club , a story telling competition based on the great Epic of RAMAYANA was organised by the Indian consulate for the Children and young adults of Indian diaspora in south China. 

Bk Sister Sapna was invited as a Head Judge among the panel of Judges for this competition.  Sister Sapna also shared some insights about the Great Epic of Ramayana addressing the audience, she also emphasised the need of moral and spiritual values as depicted through different characters of Ramayana. Many kids from Indian Diaspora joined in person and some also participated online from other cities of South China.

This initiative is appreciated by the Indian diaspora in China and in future more such activities are proposed under “Canton India Book Club” including the opening of a Library with books bringing awareness of our cultural heritage and ancient wisdom.
