Tver, Russia– A lesson of “Kindness” for children in a Second school
One of the most difficult classes, where children need support and attention in particular from the adults, is “A lesson of Kindness”.
However, BK Irina Illina, CC of Tver Centre of Brahma Kumaris and a School Teacher began the discussion with simple concepts – good and evil, good and bad deeds. In addition attention was paid to understanding the virtue that each person has.
It was not easy for children to find their own virtue, however, it gradually became clear that every child is beautiful for his kindness and uniqueness.
The children spoke of the importance of showing the best human qualities. They answered the question: “What virtues do their parents show towards them?”
And then together the children looked at the symbolic picture of positive qualities, where the children emphasized purity, kindness, responsibility, peace, mercy, but only one pupil mentioned the most important quality – love.
And the virtue Love became the central theme of the lesson. To the inspiring music, the children visualized vivid images of flowers radiating warmth and tenderness.
They imagined how the energy of love spread far beyond the classroom, reaching the hearts of their parents and friends, illuminating the streets of their town and spreading all over the planet!
Then each child drew his own unique Flower of Love, putting a piece of his heart and soul into the drawing. All the drawings turned into a wonderful Garden of Flowers of Love.
These warm moments remain in the hearts of children for a long time, give them faith in the best and inspire them to see a bright future filled with mutual love and respect for each other.
If all people on Earth remembered that they have this Flower of Love in their hearts, then the world would become a real Paradise.
The initiative of the Brahma Kumaris Center in Tver was highly appreciated by the administration of the school.
And the SchoolDirector expressed desire to continue cooperation and to organize similar spiritual and moral lessons next academic year and added that the children should visit the Centre to feel the atmosphere of purity and love
