Hyderabad Shanti Sarovar : A grand four-day Shivratri Mahotsav titled ‘Arunachaleswar Darshan’ was organized in a magnificent manner at Brahma Kumaris – Shanti Sarovar, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The festival witnessed an overwhelming response from devotees and the general public.

The Mahotsav featured several unique spiritual attractions, including:

  • A beautifully designed model of the world-renowned Arunachaleswar Temple
  • Representation of Arunagiri
  • Agni Lingam
  • Dwadasa Jyotirlinga Darshan
  • Maha Aarathi and Yagya Kund
  • Grand cultural presentations
  • Spiritual exhibition and free Rajyoga meditation sessions
  • Value-based learning through interactive games and spiritual entertainment

Thousands of visitors attended the Mahotsav and experienced the serene, divine atmosphere at Shanti Sarovar. Devotees expressed deep appreciation for the spiritual ambience and meaningful presentation of Shivratri celebrations.

Maha Shivratri Special Public Programme

On the auspicious day of Maha Shivratri, 15th February 2026, a special public programme was conducted.

Maharshi Ramana Murthy, National General Secretary of Jai Bharat Movement, attended as Chief Guest. In his address, he appreciated the selfless spiritual services rendered by the Brahma Kumaris. He stated that the true essence of Sanatana culture is being preserved and practiced at Brahma Kumaris. He described the organization as a matter of pride for the nation and emphasized that it is the responsibility of every citizen to support and protect such value-based movements. He noted that much can be learned from the Brahma Kumaris’ disciplined and service-oriented approach. Referring to negative propaganda on social media, he remarked that any attempts to malign such noble service activities should be collectively condemned.

Sister BK Jenna from Washington spoke on the spiritual significance of Maha Shivratri and highlighted the relevance of Rajyoga meditation and Brahma Kumaris’ services in today’s stressful world.

Mr. Sankariah, Additional Commissioner of GHMC, extended his greetings and stated that it is the collective responsibility of society to participate in and support the selfless service initiatives of the Brahma Kumaris.

The Mahotsav concluded with a message of inner awakening, peace, and spiritual transformation, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
