Delhi : Chakradhari Didi & Santosh Didi took part in the World Public SummitThe World Public Summit that opened in the capital of India on March, 23, at the prestigious Hyatt Regency hotel, invited leading policymakers, statesmen, business leaders, scientists, social workers, to discuss the key values and action plans that would ensure peaceful, prosperous and sustainable future for humanity.

It was not by chance that India was chosen as the venue for the Summit. As Mr Andrey Belyaninov. Secretary-General of the World Peoples Assembly, put it, “India, a country that embodies the principle of unity in diversity, becomes a space for dialogue on the values that shape our shared future.”

Mr Sameep Shastri, Vice-Chairman, BRICS CCI, noted that “India has always believed the world is one family. This summit brings that vision to life as we explore how our diverse perspectives can build a more inclusive and sustainable future for all.”

Chakradhari Didi, national chairperson of the Brahma Kumaris Women’s Wing (India), and Santosh Didi, director, Brahma Kumaris, St. Petersburg (Russia), were officially invited to be participants and speakers at the events of the Summit by the Organizing Committee of this international forum.

Speaking at the meeting of the Scientific and Expert Council of the World Peoples Assembly, Santosh Didi underlined, “When we have integrity in our personality, when we think of ourselves not just as individual beings but as part of the whole world, it becomes easy to recreate the world of unity and harmony. Raja Yoga meditation enables us to tap into something that can be called Godliness in us, or to become those who are truly after the image and likeness of God, our Supreme Father.”

In her address to participants of the round table “Spiritual Unity: from Traditional Values to a Culture of Peace” held at Miranda House College (University of Delhi) as part of the World Public Summit, Chakradhari Didi especially remembered Prajapita Brahma, the founding father of the Brahma Kumaris, whose vision of the unique role of women in achieving peace and global unity had been far ahead of his time. “The current development of world events is giving us a convincing proof of his foresight. Today’s world desperately needs a maternal attitude towards everyone as members of a single family.”

BK Husain (ORC) and BK Tamanna (Shakti Nagar, Delhi) also received an opportunity to be part of the events of the Summit.
