54th death anniversary of Brahma Baba observed as World Peace Day

Abohar, January 18.

The death anniversary of Lekhraj Khubchand Kriplani (December 15, 1876 – January 18, 1969), also known as Dada Lekhraj, founder of the Brahma Kumaris, was today observed as World Peace Day here.

Mayor of Municipal Corporation Vimal Thatai, Chief of Bahawalpuri Samaj Nand Kishore, Ramesh Kumar Sharma Advocate, Dr. Jaswant Singh, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. Ritu Gupta, Dr. Rajindra Bansal, Dr. Kanchan Khurana, Shakuntala Soni, BK center in-charge Pushplata Behan, deputy in-charge Darshana Behan and Shalu Behan were among the citizens who paid tribute by offering flowers on the portrait Brahma Baba.

Rajyoga teacher Sunita Behan said that every year January is celebrated as Avyakt month by the institution. Before the partition of the country, Dada Lekhraj Kriplani, a famous diamond trader in Hyderabad Sindh, saw the destruction of the world through divine vision and resolved to spread the message of peace everywhere by forming an organization under the leadership of women. Lekhak Parishad president Raj Sadosh said that the Brahma Kumaris organization has now taken the form of a banyan tree by taking the campaign of world transformation through self-transformation to the masses in 140 countries. People were being motivated to shun vices, live a value-based life and protest the environment. The apprehension of destruction in the world by Brahma Baba was visible even now from the confrontations and wars going on between different countries.
