Antigua and Barbuda celebrates their 43rd year of Independence
In observance of the 43rd Independence Anniversary of the Caribbean Islands of Antigua and Barbuda, the government had arranged several programmes.
B.K. Payal was invited as a guest to most of these functions including an Interfaith Prayer service that was attended by the Hon Prime Minister Mr Gaston Brown and members of his family along with Government Ministers, Members of Parliament and members of the Diplomatic Corp., and their families.
Sister Payal also attended the National Schools Panorama; the Festival of Choirs and the Independence Ceremonial Parade that was held at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium where she met with several dignitaries including Sir Vivian Richards.
On each of these events she met with Diplomats and VIP’s and created new friendships and contacts.
