Rairangpur (ODISSA): Brahma Kumaris, Rairangpur organised the Addiction Free Odisha Campaign, by Hon’ble President of India, Droupadi Murmu on 4th May 2023.Our Esteemed Guests Hon’ble Governor of Odisha, Prof. Ganeshi Lal, Hon’ble Minister of State for Tribal Affairs of India, Bishwesar Tudu, Mr Sukanta Rath, ADM, CSR, Jindal Stainless Limited addressed the audience.
The welcome address was given by Dr Banarsilal, Secretary, Medical Wing, RERF. The divine Presence of BK Kamlesh Didiji, Sub-zone Incharge, Cuttack, BK Neelam Didiji, Sub-zone Incharge, Nabarangpur, BK Surpriya Didi, Center – Incharge, Rairangpur, made the event a great success.
The Program was coordinated by BK Arun Sahoo, AGM, NSPCL, Rourkela. Around 1000 locals and BKs participated in the event and were motivated to fulfill the Aim and Objective of the campaign. In future the campaign will organise various types of de-addiction programs, rallies, and workshops to create awareness among youth, slum areas .etc
