Going back in time, in the absence of even TV, life was a celebration in the company of family and friends and nature. With the passage of time people have lost the quality of patience and have no time for each other. For him the take away from the conference is accepting things as they are, as it gives clarity, which leads to better decision making. His suggestion was to take care of one’s thoughts, which makes our actions and intentions clear, which have a positive impact on governance. For this, practice of meditation will go a long way and Brahma Kumaris is an organization where one can experience real peace.
Shri Dr. Artabandhu Sahoo,Director, ICAR- National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology, Bangalore while expressing his thoughts said that God is for one and all on the earth, and that there is purpose of life for each one on this earth. That purpose is our duty. Giving an example of Abhimanyu, he said that that purpose starts even before we are born. So when we come into a family, we should love that family, then all others, your village and your country. He differentiated between work, job and duty, and said the intention with which duty is done has a lot of significance. Our actions should be such that we are remembered for in future. We have to check whether we are doing our duty for the society and expressed his thought that the Brahma Kumaris are working for the society through their services.
In the same way, all spoke on the theme – “Spirituality for Clean and Healthy Society”, and shared their individual thoughts on the theme. More than 1700 audience, from different walks of life, and other guests attended the conference making it a grand success.
