The Day of Attaining Love and Will Power
Celebration of Smriti Diwas at Lighthouse (St. Petersburg, Russia)January, 18, 2026
St. Petersburg, Russia: Both physical and subtle preparations for celebrating the auspicious Day of Ascension of Pita Shri Brahma Baba had begun in the Lighthouse long before January, 18.
The World Benefactor’s Room (Baba’s room) had been transformed into… a History Hall with black and white translight photos telling the wonderful story of divine activities of Brahma Baba, Mama and the children of the yagya. A special Brahma Baba’s corner with the model of the Tower of Peace emerged at the Silence Area. Baba’s children would sit there in deep tapasya absorbing powerful vibrations of silence and studying the photo albums dedicated to the life story of our ancestors.
Every night, BK brothers and sisters would come to the Conference Hall to enjoy the revision of BapDada’s elevated avyakt vani of January, 18 of every year, from 1969 onwards.
Many new and old Baba’s children from various cities of Russia and Belarus arrived in St. Petersburg for these special avyakt days of tapasya. A few of them had travelled as far as 4000 km (!) to reach here.
The day of Smriti and Samarthi started with a powerful early morning meditation at the World Benefactor’s Room followed by our world-wide Brahmin time-table of this day. After a special bhog to BapDada and the original jewels of Baba’s yagya was offered, everyone turned into a spiritual pilgrim and made a tour starting with Baba’s room (for getting special blessings from BapDada and drishti from Santosh Didi ji), then proceeded to Baba’s corner in the Silence Area. After that, everyone enjoyed a light breakfast and a special toli of the day – a slice of apple with butter – in the atmosphere of calm and quiet. Then murli revision and karma yoga continued in silence.
By 15.30pm (18.00pm Indian time) we came back to the Diamond Hall to celebrate Avyakt Milan. After filling our aprons with Baba’s blessings from the Diamond Hall of Shantivan (through transmission), in just a couple of seconds we reached the Diamond Hall of Lighthouse where a group of brothers and sisters sang a song of love and gratitude to Adi Dev Brahma!
So it truly became a day of re-experiencing waves of love from the Ocean of Love and filling the soul with Will Power, an invaluable inheritance of our Supreme Father and subtle angel, Brahma Baba.
