Silicon Valley, Milpitas, USA: On June 21, the Brahma Kumaris, Milpitas USA celebrated the International Day of Yoga in collaboration with the Consulate General of India, San Francisco and the Association of Indo-Americans. The event brought together Bay Area elected officials, community leaders, and members of various Indo-American organizations at Baba’s center.

The program began with inspirational remarks from distinguished guests, followed by an invocation and a ceremonial candle-lighting. Sister Kusum shared the holistic and spiritual significance of yoga, explaining the principles of Rajyoga and its role in fostering inner peace and self-awareness. She then led participants through a guided meditation session.

The celebration continued with Hatha Yoga and pranayama practices, offering attendees an opportunity to experience both physical well-being and spiritual rejuvenation.
The event was filled with inspiration, uplifting spirits and energizing bodies through the practice of yoga. Participants received Yoga Day T-shirts, blessings, and toli, and enjoyed refreshments and snacks. The gathering served as a meaningful reminder of yoga’s power to promote harmony, health, and inner balance for healthy ageing.
