Mumbai-Gamdevi,Maharastra : Brahma Kumaris Gamdevi centre had the honour of welcoming renowned Hollywood actor, director, producer and Academy award winner Mr. Forest Whitaker and his daughter, Sonnet, at the Gamdevi centre. Mr. Whitaker and his daughter were warmly welcomed with a bouquet and a shawl, followed by a sharing of spiritual teachings and practices of the BrahmaKumaris.
A guided meditation was also conducted in which they were made to experience the eternal connection with the Supreme.
Mr. Whitaker apart from his acting career, is also known for his humanitarian work and is a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador.
Mr. Whitaker and his daughter seemed to be very touched at heart through their experience and also expressed his keenness to visit the centre in their home town, New York.
