Summer Camp Spreads Joy and Values Among Children at West Marredpally, Secunderabad
Secunderabad Telangana: A four-day Summer Camp for children was successfully organized from 1st May to 4th May 2025 at the Brahma Kumaris Rajyoga Centre, West Marredpally, Secunderabad. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 150 children and 70 parents, making it a vibrant and spiritually enriching event.
The camp focused on practical applications of Rajyoga Meditation, with sessions on Om Sound Therapy, Water Therapy, Plant Meditation, Trataka Yoga, Digital Detox, and Value-Based Games. These activities aimed at nurturing mental wellness, concentration, creativity, and inner peace in young minds.
The inaugural session was graced by Sri Madhukar Nayak Ji, CEO of the Secunderabad Cantonment Board, who inaugurated the camp on Thursday at 5 PM. Expressing his happiness, he said, “It is heartening to see children embracing meditation at a young age. These practices will definitely help them lead a value-based life.” He also graciously permitted a picnic for the children at the Cantonment Park, Mahendra Hills.
The closing ceremony featured BK Mruthyunjaya Bhaiji, Additional Secretary of the Brahma Kumaris, Mount Abu, who distributed gifts to the children and inspired them by emphasizing the significance of Rajyoga in building the future of India. Other dignitaries present included BK Satyanarayana Bhaiji, Centre Incharge BK Manju Didiji, BK Ravi Bhaiji, Shri Suresh Binjrajka, and Shri Ramesh Binjrajka.
Dr. BK Ramyaa Bahenji, from the Global Hospital, Mount Abu, also addressed the gathering and blessed the children, encouraging them to incorporate meditation in daily life.

Impact & Outcomes:
- Parents have committed to send their children twice a month to the center for meditation sessions.
- Children have begun practicing daily spiritual habits like:
- Writing “Good Night” letters to God
- Water charging and consumption
- Morning exercises and pranayama
- Caring for plants at home with love and attention
The children took a solemn promise to use social media, the internet, mobile phones, iPads, and laptops strictly for educational purposes only.
