China (Shanghai) : A grand celebration of Tamil New year was organised by Tamil Sangamam at Crown Plaza in a prime location of Shanghai in which famous singers of South Indian TV industry were especially invited from India ( 1.Al Rufian: playback singer & music director, 2. Dhanya Sri: Super Singer fame & Playback singer, 3. Saravanan & Nathiya : Season 10 winners of Kalakka povathu yaru )along with other Artists of Indian classical dances (Indians and Chinese) based in China.
Sister Sapna was invited by the Tamil Sangamam community as Chief Guest on this occasion where she gave her greetings and inspirations for the new year. We also presented godly gifts to the President of Tamil Sangamam, main organising team as well as the invited artists from India.
The Consul of Culture department of the Indian Consulate Mr. Aditya PrabhuDesai was also present as Guest of Honor on the occasion along with other important members of Indian community from Shanghai and other cities.
On this occasion the Statue of The great philosopher Saint Tiruvalluvar was also unveiled which was specially brought from India with the support of Indian Consulate and will be established at the Consulate campus.
It was a great opportunity to give Baba’s message to Indian Diaspora ( especially South Indian community in East China) , Indian students studying in China and Chinese friends who were present on this occasion. Many souls showed interest in visiting the centre and also studying Rajyoga.
