Didi Jayanti’s Visit to Trinidad & Tobago for the Brahma Kumaris 50th Anniversary (June 16–19, 2026)
Inspiring Leadership and Service
- At 76 years of age, Didi Jayanti continues to tirelessly serve, following the example of Dadi Janki and fulfilling God’s task of spiritual upliftment worldwide.
- Arrived in Trinidad and Tobago on 16 June 2026 to participate in the Golden Jubilee (50th Anniversary) celebrations of the Brahma Kumaris in Trinidad, Tobago and the Caribbean.
Special Anniversary Programme – 17 June
- Conducted morning class at the Chaguanas Centre and participated in several meetings.
- Delivered the Feature Address at a special anniversary programme held at the San Fernando Regional Headquarters.
- Over 200 distinguished guests attended, including Government Ministers, diplomats, religious leaders, business leaders, professionals, and members of civil society.
- A documentary showcasing 50 years of Brahma Kumaris service in the Caribbean was premiered and warmly received.
- The programme was streamed live on YouTube and viewed by more than 1,500 people.
High-Level Government and Diplomatic Engagements
- Courtesy Call on Christine Carla Kangaloo, President of Trinidad and Tobago.
- Courtesy Call on Kamla Persad-Bissessar, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago.
- Met with Government Ministers and national leaders, strengthening relationships between spiritual and civic institutions.
- Engagements highlighted the role of values, spirituality, and education in nation-building.

Public Lecture at Queen’s Hall
- A major public programme was held at Queen’s Hall.
- Included cultural presentations, interviews, candle-light ceremony, and Didi Jayanti’s spiritual message.
- Approximately 400 people attended and benefited from the event.
Mamma Day and Closing Celebrations
- On Labour Day, BK members from Trinidad and Tobago, other Caribbean islands, Canada, and New York gathered for a special Mamma Day remembrance programme.
- Activities included Murli, meditation, Bhog offering, garlanding, and presentation of commemorative gifts.
- The gathering concluded Didi Jayanti’s visit on a joyful and spiritual note.
